You tell me everything will be okay.
You explain what has happened, as if I don’t know. As if I am a child, too young to understand what you have done.
And if everything was okay, there would be no screaming.
No crying.
No begging.
No blood.
There would be no fire.
They would still be alive.
And I would not have to take my medication to stop seeing you.
Nothing is okay.
