Daisies, Daffodils, and Dandelions

Proof of Mother Earth’s power

Sprouting from the ground

Reaching for the sky

Holding their poise as the 

Wind blows and they dance

Swaying with the breeze

Roots binding them to the Earth

They’re like sunshine in a garden

----

The pulsing heart of spring

Closest thing to perfect

Their large petals placed 

Creating a star

Others with little petals arranged 

Still forming a beautiful flower

With creamy yellows next to

Bold white and shades of green

Hinting at fresh beginnings
