When given the opportunity to relive a day from your past over and over is there even a correct answer? Like okay pick a day and relive it but why? I understand some people have days that they want to go back and fix the things they did. The point of life is to move on and learn from what you have done. Not to rehash every single thing that you have done. If I had to go back and relive a day it would be a day I know brings me joy but I only remember parts and pieces of what actually happened. From long ago but not that long ago, the day that starts this journey.
The first day of Kindergarten. Silly right? Yeah I know. I can remember standing at the flagpole saying the pledge of allegiance just like every other first day of elementary school. I remember the Links aka a cat riding in on a motorcycle and the music teacher saying she had just gotten married. I can remember the orange teddy bear name tags that we had. We had gym and music that day. After that I can’t remember. The day was full of joy and happiness.
I’m not saying that I want to relive this day over and over again. I want to remember what it was like on the first day of Kindergarten because everything seemed so simple and easy. It was the start of the many school adventures that have happened over the years. To me going back and reliving a day that has already happened is just plain stupid. The purpose of life is to learn from what has already happened, you grow from your mistakes. The one day I would like to go back and watch what happened is the first day of Kindergarten. I don’t want to relive it. I simply want to see what happened because I can’t remember.
