Dear reader

I am saying good bye to you,

my dear reader,

Because I know after I look back over my shoulder you will be gone,

onto the next page,

maybe even the next book,

forgetting about all the little words I write on this page.

You will read amazing things,

from fiction,

to poetry,

maybe you will read horror,

or action,

or you might love romance,

or maybe you will read all of these because you want to live through all the lives you can't.

I think it is time I bare you a farewell,

and let you move onto your next page to get captured in,

I wonder if you will write that page yourself,

or if you will read someone else's story,

either way that will be your decision,

and we will see if you remember me,

happy wandering dear reader until next time.

  • One more year

One more year until you're gone,

One more year before I probably won't see you again,

One more year of our many years of friendship being thrown away,

One more year until I break.

  • I saw you

I wonder what people see when they first look at you,

    are they nervous?

    Are they afraid?

Do they wonder about your thoughts?

Or do they see you as an everyday person?

Or do they think you look kind,

  • They are all the same

You left dead flowers at my grave,

as if they were all the same.

    Most leave bouquets,

even though they will slowly die,

just like me til I made it to the afterlife.
