Don’t Do What We Did

We built our towers high and bright,

But lost the world to fire and pride.

We claimed to chase the truth and light,

Yet left our forged wisdom behind.

So if our ashes speak again

Let this sentence still forbid:

Remember the love before the hate

And don’t do what we did.
