From a mere ember
the amber ignites
From a mere gust
The speckles of amber spread
From a mere kindle
The flock of amber glows
From a mere day
The hues of amber expand
From a mere note
The shades of amber whistle
From one mere voice
A world of color sings
From a mere gasp
The tones of amber go silent
From an ember snuffed out
The skeletal arms arrive
From the vast white
A piercing song is heard
