ugh it's raining again,

i text my best friend when i wake up & look out the window

onto an already gray & gloomy world.

rain rain rain rain rain rain rainy november like all 

the other months decided to get rid of their share,

here you go november, you can have it.

i'm about to send her some version of that rant when

that's not rain.

IT'S SNOWING ARE YOU SEEING THIS

i type instead and she responds with a paragraph of christmas tree emojis

hyping herself up for a month and a half of this kind of excitement

and a perfect white christmas

as the trees bow silently in submission to the neverending snow.
