A sign that everything will be okay.

That we’ll be able to work through the pain.
Tell me that we’ll get over this wall in our fate.
Tell me we’ll smile and dance and laugh again, before it's too late.
Show me a way,
A path,
A sign.
Give me a hope;
a hope we'll be fine.
Why can’t we all just love each other?
Why does there have to be so much hate?
Can we ever learn to trust and accept those who are not like us or believe different things?
If only I could stop doubting myself,
If only I could stop being afraid,
If only I could be happier instead of secret depression,
If only I could get better, and peace would stay,
I am in complete darkness.
The black abyss surrounds me, the silence all but comforting.
I am alone, afraid, and still as if a boulder that has sat for years.
