We fear the old god's wrath
Past the heavenly glow
It is a creature that changes its emotions like swapping masks
It might act holy and then show its wrath
Its anger is strong
But its fear is stronger
The fear of losing its worshipers
The fear of them stopping the sacrificing of their livestock
The fear of the people
The fear of going hungry
The old gods are gods no more
There are just big animals now
Jormungandr is now just a snake
Anubis is now just a feral jackal now
Pan is now just a goat
Cerberus is now just a deformed, mutated dog
But the old gods will not be forgotten
And someday they'll take over
The changing of gods is as unpredictable as natural disasters
