I lay down and think.
I think about the green of my tea
The gleam in my window that I needed to clean today,
I think about my shoes
How much I walked today
And finally my homework
So much homework
Darkness begins to take over my room
The light of the moon covers my room
My ceiling
My windows
And my mirrors
My thoughts changes
To homework
To you
I've managed to put you off all day
And there you are
In my dreams
My nightmares
And finally my conscious
Everywhere
It always comes back to you.

This is a relatable poem that caught my attention all the way through. I was able to picture the scenario perfectly through this poem and it brought me back to the feeling of procrastination. I found it very interesting how you broke up the lines, especially the lines "My ceiling, My windows, And my mirrors." giving them each their own line emphasizes certain words and this is something I feel more people should do. This poem is beautiful and so relatable!
