A hero of plastic 
A hero 

Made of plastic

With a cheap fabric cape

Gives so much hope 

He protects the child

With his plastic body and his golden heart

In the child’s mind he will protect him no matter what

No matter what villain shows up he would fly over and protect the the child 

But 

No matter how strong and powerful he is

He is still made out of plastic 

And plastic can’t stop a villain 

It can’t stop a raging train 

The boy who found comfort in the plastic toy

Found that he put himself in a plastic prison that he can’t escape from

Instead of the plastic protecting him 

It trapped him in his own inescapable illusions
