Is just like

A house of cards-

You work so hard

To build it up.

Only to have it fall to peices

When you say the wrong thing

Or to

Have a crack showing

In your mask

Of serenity

And peace.

The facade

You put on

To please others.

Your house of cards hasn’t fallen yet.

But one day it will.

So keep building,

And 

Rebuilding

Your 

House of cards

Each time it falls.

In reality,

Nobody cares.

Somebody will always be there

To knock it down-

For their own gain.

Because that’s how we are.

We crave attention

So you keep building that house of cards

Until it falls.

And suddenly, 

Everybody hates you now.

Or pays you no mind

Which, in way,

Is worse.
