Intertwined

When only the stars shine, 

the winds’ whispered rhyme 

echos across the land  

as the sea longs for the moon. 

The magnetic pull 

weaves their fates together, 

intertwining them for eternity. 

The moon chases the earth, 

as the sea reaches up, 

forever trying to find each other.

    Sitting in uncomfortable silence,

    We wait for our problem to be solved.

    Changing my habits, I hope and hope.

    We have been given so much,

    And we have taken so greedily.

    Caring is beyond so many, it seems.

    Mother Earth holds us all in her arms,

    engulfing us in a comfortable beauty.

    She keeps us safe,

    as we travel around the sun.
