Just breathe.
I feel like the walls
are closing in on me.
Just breathe.
My shoulders feel heavy
and my head aches.
Just breathe.
It’s me against the world,
the world against me.
Just breathe.
My face is red
as all the moments I’ve dreaded
come back to haunt me once more.
Where do I go? I cannot flee.
What is this voice? I cannot see.
Where am I? And who is he?
What is this thing called anxiety?
Just breathe.
I feel like the walls
are closing in on me.
Just breathe.
My shoulders feel heavy
and my head aches.
Just breathe.
It’s me against the world,
the world against me.
Just breathe.
My face is red
as all the moments I’ve dreaded
come back to haunt me once more.
Where do I go? I cannot flee.
What is this voice? I cannot see.
Where am I? And who is he?
What is this thing called anxiety?
