Today is gray, I see no light
Darkness creeps across the sky
The mud caked on my skin is like a barrier to block me out.
The rain that falls makes me wet, but I can't move away.
I'm transfixed
The rain makes a ping pang ping pattern against the ground
It is never-ending.
When It seems like the sun is gone,
the clouds break.
The glowing ball of light pushes me forwards.
It gives us heat
it gives us light
it gives us life.
If we are to move forward we have to remember the sun is there.
To move forward we have to look to the light, we have to fight.
