To Martin Luther King JR.

He changed the world!
The understanding of mind!
He taught people to be thoughtful,
He proclaimed it was time.
He opened people's hearts and eyes to all the unfairness of their lives.
He believed it did not matter the type of skin-
But the character of people which is held within.
He wanted justice and freedom to ring from the land,
To burst out of hills, valley, and man
He had one simple dream-
That man would someday be on one team.
They will all join hands and agree
To treat each other equally.
And look.
Look at us now.
where all here, together, hand in hand, cause somehow
Martins dream of justice became a reality.
His dream became everyone will.
What a legacy.

  • A Space Among The Stars

To live in a space among the stars
    I'd have to get binoculars
To see the dentist on the moon
And find the next Uber at noon.
To live in a space among the stars
I'd have to float to school in cars.
  • Frost

    Its fingers were hot
    and cold and
    sweet and dark.
    All at the same time.

    Sleeeeep.

    It whispered in her ear.
    Her petals shivered.
    Its breath ran slowly
    down
    her stem and
    tickled a leaf.
