Metamorphosis

What is Change?

Well, what type of change?

Physically?

Mentally?

Spiritually?

Idealistically?

People might say it's all the same,

but is it really?

I mean, when you really stop and think,

what do we consider change?

The way I see it,

it is a metamorphosis of sorts.

We are still the same person

but different.

Think of the butterfly and its metamorphosis.

The larvae goes into the cocoon, and reemerges new and beautiful.

It is the same larvae, but altered.

Humans are the same.

We shed past emotions, guilt, thoughts, ideas, beliefs,

yet we are still the same hunk of flesh and blood.

Those rest periods we take?

Those times when we feel depressed or groggy or sad for no reason?

That's us in our cocoons.

That is us evolving to a new version of ourselves.

We are still the same person,

just,

different.

So, Change?

It is an alteration of one's own being.

    I hear the river running,

flowing with not a care in the world.

I see the leaves falling to the ground,

a thick carpet on the forest floor.

I feel a light breeze on my skin,

  • Who's To Blame?

Family is always most important to people. You're raised by them, with them, and for them. They love each other, care for one another, suck up to them when they want something.

  • All It Takes

All it takes is one to scream and shout.

All it takes is one to chase the fame and clout.

All it takes is one to carry it all.

All it takes is one domino to fall.
