Bathing me in a ghoulish glow
Brightening the dark
Staring at me
Barely disturbed
All the way up there
Floating among
The stars
Simply being
Bathing me in a ghoulish glow
I love the moon
Bathing me in a ghoulish glow
Brightening the dark
Staring at me
Barely disturbed
All the way up there
Floating among
The stars
Simply being
Bathing me in a ghoulish glow
I love the moon
I'm not sure how I feel about this poem, I don't think it's really good but I really wanted to participate in this challenge. :)
All times my heart has
Broken into pieces
I can’t breathe
No matter how hard I try
I’m still gasping for air
Drowning in the silence
Or in the noise
My own mind
Suffocating me
They say
America was raised
By our founding fathers
And I'm sure it was
But what about it's mothers

"Simply being" what a beautiful way to describe the moon. It also, in some ways, gives everything that exists the potential to become a moon.
