I'm an introvert.
I hate when people tell me I need to come out of my shell.
Because you know what?
I like my shell.
It's not a problem, it's protection.
Like a turtle, I carry armor with me always.
I can protect myself from new people and avoid getting hurt by the ones who would just betray me if I became their friend.
I can create a tight-knit group of friends who I truly trust and know are safe.
All because of my wonderful shell.
So no, I won't come out of my shell.
Just because the world is geared towards extroverts doesn't mean I have to be one.
I can be an introvert.
I can stay in my shell.
I can stay in my eternal armor.
I feel no need to transform into who people think I should be.
I have a shell and I'm proud of it.
And no one can't make me come out of it.
Let me stay in my shell.
I've never forced anyone to create their own.
So why should they force me to shed my armor?
I'm staying in my shell.
