Chapter 2: Rielly

Today I called Em and Josh. We met up in my treehouse. I had spent hours putting together a board to show evidence that Sky had something to do with Shay’s disappearance. I pointed with a stick. “I think… Sky kidnapped Shay.” Em looked at me. “Why do you think that, Ri?” She had a good point. I pushed forward with false confidence and said, “Sky hates Shay.” Em put her hand on her head. I looked out the window to make sure nobody was looking. I whispered, “Also the game we played yesterday…” I could tell that Em was thinking about my suspect. “I’m still not sure about this… what if we are getting into something too big for us?” I groaned. “Josh, don’t you agree with me?

“Josh?” He seemed to be petrified. “JOSH ARE YOU ALIVE,” Em screamed shaking him. His eyes met only the floor. “Check his heartbeat,” I said. “I’m alive,” he whispered. “Why are you acting so strange?” Said Em. He closed his eyes. “I saw what happened. You know what happened, Em, you killed her.”
