The Only King We Want

Restrain the roaring voices

to prevent the foreseeable fights

filled with rage and hatred

that could permanently appall

the people of this world.

Lips must sculpt more smiles,

for strangers to see and

suddenly feel understood.

Voices must release more empathy,

loud enough for people across

the world to hear and feel accepted.

Love is to be spread, not concealed,

it is more than a gift, rather a

necessity, to love and to be loved.

The world's love must preponderate

its hatred so that humanity can

bond into one union of amicability,

one that will only be achieved

through the overtaking of hatred with love.
