The room I never Loved

For the first time,
I walk into the room I never loved.
I will never make it.. right?
My hair cut down to my unfit jawline
and my eyes half shut forever.

I placed my hand down on the rug,
fingers spread in promise
I told myself,
just one year
but never did I mean it.
I told myself
come back that day and call yourself a winner,
but no,
never did I mean it.

I thought 1 month or mabey two
would be my own worlds edge
but here I am
hair to my sholders,
a promise meant with fingers spread.

    Cycle of life,
    Ombré effect
    Repeat till a gradual change.

    When the blinds are closed
Is it raining? Nothing but my still life remains.
    Clouded skies
    Overbearing heat
    Outside the window frames.
  • Delphinus

My eyes spread wide and I finally see
The stars aligned as they're meant to be

Oh young Delphinus soar in your ocean of black
A creature of spirit in our minds
Followed by galaxies and stars have you tracked
