A shard of glass
A shard of glass lays in the dirt
What used to be so beautiful is now so brittle
What started at the border of land and ocean
Collected in a bucket
Burned till it was liquid
The fire cackles at the melting sand that is silently suffering
Then a giant expands it till it can stretch no more
Then lets the sand rest and harden
Until its sand no more
Then it is stuffed with a liquid with thousands of tiny pops
And put in a dark room
Until the doors open and see the bright everlasting flare
And see children run up to you and rip off your tightly fitted hat
With a metal stick
And drink the liquid of a thousand explosions and then you get thrown away
Into the dirt where you see hundreds of winters and feel yourself get slowly buried with the worms
