She cares

It’s like she felt the pain

In my heart

And understood it

All at once

She listens as

The words fall out of my mouth

Faster than the cars on a highway 

But she takes it all in

Even if I go past the speed limit

She tries

Her blue bubbles

Pop up on my screen

Each one full of care 

Each one a bubble of kindness

She had the opportunity to

Take my fears

Take my thoughts 

And diminish then

She could have

Crushed my heart

In her hand

But instead 

Instead she held it

And allowed to mend

Supporting it

Along the way
