Wind whispers through the air,
snatching at the girl,
sitting in the dark
her face shining though,
in the moonlight.
She is anything but what she appears
she is girl,
innocence reveling in the light
unaware of the beasts in the shadows.
she is rebellious
stares out the window thinking,
i can make it out there, it's easy!
she is child,
seeing only the shallow meanings
in the storybooks.
Yet she is woman,
mother who has loved and lost.
she is worry and fear,
caution and protectiveness.
yet she is love, hope, warmth, and good food.
she is knowing mother.
and still, she is hag.
a crone, patiently awaiting death,
a well experienced woman,
who has seen it all,
and is ready to move on.

I really enjoyed this poem, especially the first few lines, it set the tone of the poem very well. I also find it very cool how each first line of each section creates its own poem. you do an amazing job making it relatable and understandable well making it beautiful and so complex at the same time.
Thank you so much!
