Some Say

Some say I shouldn't write
they say I should do something more
'productive'
that I shouldn't be useing my thoughts
in words
but I should be yelling them outs
some say I shouldn't chase my dreams
they say I should be
'focusing'
that I should be in reality
and working my hardest
some say I should never let my thoughs flow free
they say I should be more
'centered'
that I shouldn't let wild and fun thoughts
creep in and beat the others to my mind
but I say
I should write
and pour my hear and essence
onto a single page
I should daydream
and let my hopes and dreams
billow through my hair
I should let my thoughs flow free
and have the funniest and wildest ideas
and share them with others
I never really have to listen
to what some say.
