Stargazing

Is it so wrong for you to look at me?

Is it so bad to smile my way?

You act like I'm untouchable, a flea,

But yet you kiss me whispers and my hair you play.

Is it so wrong to wish that you were mine?

Is it so shameful to want to rest my head on yours?

It shows as hate but I want to turn back time,

And yet, now it's your pain that I endure.

Long ago, it wasn't so wrong to stare,

Back then, I was the one who made you laugh,

And now all I'm getting are stabbing glares,

So I'm chasing the stars to get in their path.

And when I look into the night sky,

All I can see is your face, your eyes, your lips,

And we thought this wouldn't rerun another time,

But is it so wrong it's you I want to kiss?
