Thank you for Your music

Dents in fingers
aching palms
Vibrato on the double.
Nail clippers
And metal smells
Music all in treble.
Twanging sounds
Bow on string
Friction, oscillating.
Powder stuff
And wooden soul
A language, fascinating.
Hollow filled
And echo trilled,
Delicate and strong.
Sorrow filled,
happy willed,
Emotion is a song.
    Ears intrigued
        Plants a seed
             Is a note
                Watch it float
                   Give it volume
                      Give it form
                              Single, double
                            in a swarm.
                       Heart is felt-
                   Feels a welt
           Watch it grow
     Let it melt.
Eyes are closed
Ears alert
Feel vibrations in the foot.
Wooden soul
With flesh and blood
Thank you for your music.

  • A Space Among The Stars

To live in a space among the stars
    I'd have to get binoculars
To see the dentist on the moon
And find the next Uber at noon.
To live in a space among the stars
I'd have to float to school in cars.
  • Frost

    Its fingers were hot
    and cold and
    sweet and dark.
    All at the same time.

    Sleeeeep.

    It whispered in her ear.
    Her petals shivered.
    Its breath ran slowly
    down
    her stem and
    tickled a leaf.
