Yellow 

Red

Simple

Rules 

Yes or no or take it slow

Humans

Nothing like traffic lights

Never what they seem

Or say

Or do

Too complicated

Green when they mean red

Or red when they mean yellow

Everyone too busy pleasing others 

That no one ends up pleased

Traffic lights annoy humans

That slow them down

But people would be so much happier 

If they took a thing or two

From those lights

And expressed how they felt

Instead of saying what people wanted to hear

If people felt okay telling people to stop

Or slow down

Maybe everyone would be pleased

If they shared what they needed
