Training

Today, I was in class, and my friend asked, If you could play any sport, what would you play?

Another one of my friends said, I play baseball. And then he added, are sports for you just jumping down into splits?

Well, yeah, for me they are. I responded, jumping down into the middle splits to prove my point. And then he said that girls are like spiders! Just because some of them can do crazy things.

Well, Kegan, you aren't wrong. But what you don't see is the training that we have to keep up with. Stretching, every day, and trying to be the best.

It's fun, and I love it, but sometimes- it's hard. I don't tell him this, of course, but now there's that feeling in the air that says it all for me.

I'm not very good at empathy.

I can't read the room and feel what nobody has spoken of.

I can see when somebody is sad,

but it's not like I can feel it.

    Of course, I can try.
