The True Answer to this Never-ending Question

Nobody can accept this answer

                            absolutely nobody

no matter how many times I tell them.

They will argue that

they know

they understand

why we were placed so carefully where we are now

and why we were allowed to so carefully evolve to where we are now.

They will turn away from you,

scoff

in disbelief

because of course others are subject to this answer,

but they are the exception, and you are the one

who should be thrown back in time

and locked into a heartless asylum.

Nobody

                         absolutely nobody

can come to terms with the true answer

to the never-ending, never-ceasing, never-slowing question of

why?

Here is the answer:

we will never know.
