Untitled?

When the chaos of the day

gets washed away

and the serenity of night descends,

I begin to wonder, as the stars ascend.

Trying to put puzzle pieces together

that don’t fit, stir my emotions like the weather.

The unknown bothers me.

I try to clear the hazy fog,

trying to find an answer in this misty sea.

I come to false conclusions,

trying to comfort my mind.

As all the words you’ve said, cruel and kind –

replay. Over and over and over again.

Until the sun rises,

Washing away the eerie silence of night.

  • In All Eyes

    And as summer leaves,
    Fall sings through the breeze.
    Flowers start to wilt,
    As the world tilts.
    Even as it dies,
Nature is beautiful in all eyes.

  • Fall’s Reminder

    The stars begin to realign,

    Opening new doors,

    As summer starts to resign.

    With whispers of love anew,

Fall changes what we once knew.

    Bringing us a new gentleness.

    One made out of love,

  • Golden Illusion

Fell in love with a golden illusion.

World veiled in a bronze light,

    Everything felt right.

The warmth of sun kissing skin,

    The reassurance of night,

The ease brought by a breeze.
