With the crashing tide,

And wisps of wind, 

Rain melts all there was. 

And all that will ever be. 

As water rises in the sea. 

Engulfing the land, 

This storm diminishes all that's grand. 

Wiping away what you thought you knew. 

Leaving you with what you hoped wasn’t true. 

A harsh reminder: nothing is what it seems. 

As even night starts to dim realistic starry dreams.

    Mother Earth holds us all in her arms,

    She keeps us safe,

    as we travel around the sun.
     

    She’s gifted us the oceans and lakes,

    the mountains and hills,
