and if we could all walk with our feet
firm on the ground, feeling the universe, feeling the world
so distant become what nurtures us,
if we could all walk only for a moment
without our hatred, without our grudges,
i doubt we would ever need to walk for peace again.

this is what i call "the idea of it" for a play i'm coming up with! it's basically the kind of intriguing summary you'd find on a book's jacket cover haha.
I love the smile on people's faces when I hand them a poem with their name on it & yes of course you get to keep it.
you are a dancer and so you find a way to dance
through everything:
the hallways, gym class, chorus
when we have to stand, white fields, your dance studio,
