he wakes me up at 7:00 on the dot. he jumps into my bed and licks my face until i sit up. he bounds around on three legs. a dog took his other one. he was adopted from foster care. he was smiling in the front seat as it snowed on the way to his first time home. his name is meaning happiness and snow in japanese. yuki. same pronunciation, different characters. he gets zoomies after baths. he sleeps on my moms bed. he rolls in things he should not. he likes his squeaky rabbit toy i got him from marshall’s. he is a very very happy dog.

    the tortoise and the hare

    for a tortoise, i think i beat the hare. he ran from everything yet always won. whether it was to give up friends or to just be right. now i pass him as he naps on the side of the road. i need a nap too, though.
