I Wonder

I wonder when I’ll talk to you again

The way I used to, back when

Things are different - things have changed

I wonder when I’ll see you again

You seem so distant, but so do I

You have been gone for what seems like an eternity

I wonder...

The simplicity of the words, their repetition, and your syntax craft a little poem that flows, for me, in much the same way that water does over rocks in a stream. I like that you leave punctuation off of the ends of each line. The way line three cuts off line two is tied with the whole poem as my favorite part of this poem!
