A late fall night outdoors

Sitting outside behind my home, in front of a fire.
It's a late chili night but the sun is still setting,
the fire burns red and looks beautiful in front of the pink and orange sunset.
The orange, yellow, and red leaves fall down creating piles in my yard,
creating a coat of colors across the ground.
Looking at everything around me and feeling cozy,
feeling the breeze of a late fall night outdoors, but
feeling warmth from the fire in front of me.
I can hear the crickets chirping and my stream slowly flowing,
children playing in piles of leaves and the crackles of the fire.
A late fall night outdoors.

  • The Cows At The Barn

When I was younger I remember going to my grandparents and being brought to the barn. That is where all of the cows were of course. With the cows my grandfather had always put us on them and let us ride them.
