There are words that must wait,
Words that don’t belong in Today’s conversations,
They could scar, they could birth, but they could kill,
These words can not leave the brain,
Be birthed in the throat and pass lips,
They must stay silent.
But that was Yesterday’s opinion,
Tomorrow has regretted Yesterday’s choices,
Since the moment they had woken at one in the morning filled with nostalgia,
Nostalgia for the unforgotten words of Yesterday that were kept quiet,
Though it is much too late now,
These words can only ever be breathed into the empty universe away from the vulnerable.
Tomorrow wants Yesterday to know its mistake,
So that when Tomorrow becomes Today,
Yesterday, The Day Before, and The Day After, Tomorrow,
The same mistake is not made,
Please take this into consideration,
Sincerely, a message from Tomorrow.
