The Diary of the Grim Reaper p.t 2

Today I saw the life being sucked out of a man's eyes.

Though he never died; not a part of his body wavered.

He held in his hands his life.

His daughter and beside her lay his wife.

Today I saw the tears stream down the face of a man mourning more than one loss.

Today I saw one heart grieve two.

And so I lay them both to rest, hoping one day they may all start anew.

  • But a Passing Moment

Heads turned down; rushing in a hurry down the stairs.
But out of all of them I see you.
Standing upright like the rest, yet so different to all the others.
You fascinate me, I try to watch closely but feel as if I am afar.

  • Unmoving

    And now I sit, unmoving.
The epicentre of my own downward spiral.
Unwilling, unchanging; staring desolate into the void.
    Bored into unproductivity.
    Feelings of loathing arise.
The great pleasure of completion fades.
