My View

By Emma-Rose HolasThe view from my window. It's boring. Nothing new. It's my neighbor's garage, overgrown plants, abandoned vehicles
But if you look closer, longer
You'll see that any window is important, Useful
Looking outside, letting the air in, listening to cicadas and crickets in the summer
A window will show you a whole new world
Where birds go tweet tweet and the wind dances all around
Different from wherever you are know
Different but not unknown, not far, interesting
The view from my window. It's boring. Nothing new. It's my neighbor's garage, overgrown plants, abandoned vehicles.
But if you look closer, longer
You'll see that not everything is what it seems
Or maybe it is, but it's different to everyone
A window is one thing to one, and another to another
You choose what to see
A new world, different from wherever you are now
Or
You see a window, a hole in the wall
All it is is boring, nothing new
