Reflection

I wonder what I look like 

I have only ever seen my smile in photographs and reflections 

I have never seen the way my smile beams

like my friends say it does 

I have never seen my eyes light up when good news comes my way 

I have never seen my eyes, nose, or mouth 

I have never fully seen myself 

So tell me what my eyes look like 

A blend of what colors?

Tell me the shape of my lips 

How do they curve at the top? 

Tell me the structure of my face 

for I have never seen some of my facial expressions 

that makes my friends laugh 

I want to believe what I have seen is me 

but at the same time

 I don't.
