What is it about the wind on the moors
That makes you not mind
When it blows your hair into your mouth
And the water you're trying to drink out of your mouth
And the juice of the nectarine you're trying to eat everywhere else?

Floating is 
Sunset 
A perfect fall day
Leading my horse back to the barn
Red and orange leaves in my hair

Sinking is 
Unable to do my homework
I don’t know why
So I can’t explain why to my parents

Bleary eyed
Not yet awake
I had an oddly specific dream
I like the color of yogurt

7:42-8:10
Winding roads
The radio
Dropping my sister off at school
Wishing I could go there too

How can a purple rectangular prism
Contin an entire world
And an entire population of people
It’s small enough to hold in my hand
And light enough to toss
But it contains a world
I open it
How can a soft sheet 

I let a drop of soap fall
From the bottle into my palm
In the bottle it looks lilac
In the air
It’s clear as water
I smell it
On on the bottle it says 
It smells like sweet pea and violet
In real life
