Fainting Goat

Anger boils through my veins

Like a ferocious fire

Inextinguishable

And when it finally settles into a dull flame

A wave of pain rushes over me

And I'm fully extinguished

We are the generation

That is falling apart

Breaking down

Flowing towards 

A lake full of blood

Classmates feel the sting

Of a bullet pierced through a mind

Still learning how to be a grown up
