We look through the plane window

Upon a small, small world

A fragile display of creations

One push and it crumbles down 

 

Upon a small, small world

Cars move like ants beneath our feet

He drinks to forget

That he is ashamed.

Ashamed of drinking

So he can forget.

Twigs for legs
It stands
On two claws 

Beads for eyes
It looks
And then squawks

It resonates 
Through the air
Heard from miles afar

Like a roar 
It’s bloodline
That’s now eons apart

In the light of the morning, new friend 

An unsure, yet so curious soul

Appeared, chosen among your peers

So you make your new presence known

When I walked in here I saw

Something moving

My dear loyal friend, with eyes so wide

With a wagging tail that’s by my side

A stance so regal, and fur that shines

A handsome lad

A suit as fine as wine

Your gentle paws, they touch my soul

A world where smog flies in the skies

No birds at all that will survive

All things share the same breath 

All men

All size

Yet we say it’s okay 

Like it’s a lie 

Air shares its spirit
