So loud, yet you can’t hear it.
Ink on paper, so common yet taken for granted
Long, or short it can be
Every second holds value

Blood, black blood coursed through my veins.
I knew from that moment I would never be the same.
My raging heart beat with an evil flare.

Whooshing wind, I can hear it.
Butterflies from the inside, I can feel them.
The brink of death, I can taste it.
