I have 
what I like to call
a crooked soul
one that is
a little out of place
and wants to do
odd things
and is shy
to show its true
crooked self

I have seen
a bird with
a crooked wing
I smile at it

a small
metel box
sits inside
my heart
it stays locked
for I have thrown
the key away
I do not want to open
this little trove
of awful secrets
and thoughts
for I am afraid
if I do
I will fall

Myself, why I am real
is hard to come by
normally I am
smiley
energetic
a tad shy
friendly
and filled with
creativity
but inside
and when I am alone
I am self conscious
about how I look

Sink down
in that oversuffed
puffy armchair
that you've always
been meant
to sit on
and open a book
a window
to a world unlike your own
a little piece
of life itself
it's pages are worn
the corners dog-eared

Am I really someone
that can make a differnce?
I'm just a little girl
with a small voice
but...
I still have a voice
sometimes its immensly
even extrodinairily small
and most people don't hear it
but...
