When you pass by,

you will sigh a small “hi.”

and

(of course),

I may not be near–

enough to respond

and 

I despise annotating in my books and in my notes

It takes away from the beauty of the page

It's confusing and maiming and hurts the book

And it hurts me deeply

Too many shapes and writings to follow

Look and Find: The world has not yet opened its wings. 

While rocks don’t grow they age

If Moon hurls ice; Sun gathers light; Mother must weave life

To love and lend me as your friend

When shadows fall and dark descends

Is your way to love, to be. 

And me? 

A tiny seed – compared to your magnificent tree

Change can be scary,

but it must be achieved.

Determination is the best tool

to change how we live.

If you are afraid to change,

that's okay.

Change isn't easy,

but it must be done.
