Faster and faster 

I know it's my fault 

But I can't stop them

Can you go blind from crying in the dark?

This isn't a break up 

I hung out with her today 

I listened to her talk

I was mesmerized by her

She brought me in to town with her

I wish it was anyway 

I'm still stuck 

I thought I was free 

But I was so wrong 

I know it's not okay

But I can't resist it 

After all, it's what I really wanted right?

The wind was finally settling 

The rain was slowing down 

My tears were drying up

What got lost was being found 

I let down my guard
