Tinted Glass
We peeled off the label, but glue still clung to our tinted glass walls.
Overthinking every movement and all our silent brawls.
You didn't break my heart, you only broke my mind.
Trying to look for pieces we may have left behind. -
Burning
I step outside and see the scarlet hue of the sky.
I smell the faintest sent of burning wood and sap.
Yesturday, smoking half a pack of cigarettes was healthier than breathing the air.
My eyes are burning.

Sir Snuggles and The Dragon
The golden sun shined through the mouth of my cave as I opened my eyes. I hopped off my stuffed animal hoard and stretched my wings, spreading my claws on the rocky surface beneath me. -

They say it's a tale,They've never been proven wrong,
Even still I hope.
A cat gets nine lives,
I wait for him to breathe again,
