The room was dark.

I sat there with legos with my sister and was
Unhappy.

At any given moment my heart would pulse, and my head would pulse
I'd suck in my breath and tell myself to keep laughing.

Dear you guys,
I'm going to a different school in the fall.
Which I'm excited about.
Which means I left you.
And that makes me cry.

Dear you guys,
I wish it was right for me there.
But it's not,
And so we need to part.

I have two pictures on my phone that make me really, really happy. The first one is on my lock screen, and it’s probably the most amazing memory I have. It’s of me at Harry Potter And The Cursed Child, the broadway show.

First, there’s either a tall glass of foamy orange juice, or a low coffee cup with lots of milk in it in front of you. 

The beach path is worn,
people walking on it every day but still it stands.
